One Thing I Ask

ONE THING I ASK
Hangad

One thing I ask
To dwell in the house of the Lord
all my days,
To gaze on His goodness
And walk in His ways.

He will shelter me; He will be my strength.
In the triumph that He brings me
I can hold my head high.
In His house I shall lift up my voice.
I will sing, I will praise the Lord.

One thing I ask
To dwell in the house of the Lord
all my days,
To gaze on His goodness
And walk in His ways. Amen.

One Thing I Ask - Hangad

It was my brother James' entrance day into high school seminary just this afternoon (we left James in the seminary 5:00 PM, GMT +8). I was very joyful for my brother, who so far will be the first among the family to study in a high school seminary. He is the youngest among us five children. My father, my brother John and my sister Jane were there to help him fix his things.

In front of the seminary, with me taking the picture.

My chance to pose.

Fixing James' things.

My brother James, his fellow seminarian Jaime, my Dad (who shares the name with Jaime, even the surname!), Jane and me.

The current seminarian with the future one? ;-) Notice the matching colors of our shirts.

The entrance day made me reflect about my call, even more. Verses of One Thing I Ask were echoing in my mind that whole day...

Saint Aloysius Gonzaga, pray for us.
